The 2007 Audi A3 reliability score of 6.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
The A3's new vehicle limited warranty is for four years or 50,000 miles.
AutoWeek contends that the A3's build quality feels good, "with no squeaks, rattles or vibrations showing up after nearly 7000 miles." However, USA TODAY says, "Audi models are over-represented on Consumer Reports magazine's list of 'used cars to avoid' because of reliability problems.
