Cadillac CTS Exterior Review
Exterior - 8.0 (Very Good)
Reviewers are generally impressed with the exterior styling of the 2007 Cadillac CTS. The San Francisco Chronicle notes, "The sculpted hood, aggressive grille and chiseled exterior of the CTS make it stand out among the current crop of sporty, premium sedans on the market."
The CTS-V model is modified with a wire mesh grill insert, lower front and rear fascia, rocker moldings, a small rear spoiler and "V" badging on the trunk and on either side of the car. About.com writes, "The CTS is already a pretty aggressive-looking car, and when you add the body part it starts looking downright scary, in a good way. This is a car with swagger, even standing still." Automobile Magazine, meanwhile, insists that it still "succeeds in being instantly recognizable as a Cadillac."
Not every critic liked the cut, bold look of the 2007 Cadillac CTS. MSN thinks some people may not like it "because of such things as its more aggressive looking front end."
Sixteen-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires come standard. According to Road and Track they "provide plenty of stick." Kelley Blue Book says the styling of "the tall rear deck makes rear visibility somewhat of an issue but the design provides an abundance of storage space. This car has excellent build quality."
