The 2007 Chevrolet HHR reliability score of 6.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
Chevrolet offers a a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty on the HHR. In addition to the basic warranty, the HHR gets a five-year/100,000-mile drivetrain warranty and roadside assistance. But even when the warranties have expired, owners can take solace in the fact that IntelliChoice lists the HHR as a "Best in Class" winner for Lowest Maintenance Costs.
The Auto Channel speaks to the HHR's quality of construction, calling it "solid, with few rattles." The reviewer goes on to note that it "gave the impression that all the bolts were tightened and all the welds secure. This isn't something you'll always find in a compact car, no matter where it's built."
