Chevrolet TrailBlazer Exterior Review

Exterior - 8.3 (Very Good)

The TrailBlazer's exterior styling, traces of which can be seen in the current generation of Chevy trucks, is familiar to many potential owners. New Car Test Drive, like many reviewers, finds that the TrailBlazer "looks neat and sturdy, with confident lines that express utility." Kelley Blue Book says, "The TrailBlazer's rugged yet refined pose seems as comfortable off-road as in the valet parking lot."

Reviewers especially like the SS trim. Forbes reports, "The SS goes for a sleek look that features a monochromatic color scheme, with mirrors and door handles all painted the body color. It is stripped of exterior accoutrements like body side moldings and a roof rack." AutoMedia.com likes the "less-is-more approach," which includes "special fascias front and rear, with the former getting a black mesh grill and fog lamps." Other trim levels are not as immediately distinguishable. The base LS has 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the LT has fog lamps and a roof rack. The SS has 20-inch wheels.
