The 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan reliability score of 4.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
Dodge offers competitive warranty coverage on all of its cars, including a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty. 2007 and 2008 models purchased after July 26, 2007 are now covered by a lifetime powertrain warranty.
Several reviewers note quality concerns about the Grand Caravan. Edmunds reports that despite the fact that Dodge has "vastly improved reliability and quality of newer models over earlier generations -- [the Grand Caravan] tends to have more repair concerns than some of its import rivals."
