The 2007 Dodge Nitro reliability score of 4.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
Dodge offers a three-year/36,000-mile basic limited warranty on the Nitro. 2007 and 2008 models purchased after July 26, 2007 are now covered by a lifetime powertrain warranty. The Nitro is also warranted against body rust for five years or 100,000 miles.
