Ford Edge Exterior Review

Exterior - 8.6 (Very Good)

Ford hit a home run as far as the Edge's styling is concerned. According to most reviews, it's a head-turner. Describing the Ford Edge's impressive looks, the Detroit News notes that "in supermarket parking lots, at street corners, on freeways, people can't help but stare at Ford's flashy new midsize crossover vehicle."

A number of reviewers call its styling "bold" and approve of Ford's new grille, including the Los Angeles Times, who explains, "The Edge is a terrific-looking piece of machinery, short-coupled and athletic, with a long, rakish windshield and handsome grille." An approving Car and Driver also points out that "it makes the Toyota Highlander look like a wallflower." And U.S. News reviewer Rick Newman gives the Edge a "hot" rating.
