Reliability

The 2007 Honda CR-V reliability score of 10.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).

The CR-V is covered with a bumper-to-bumper warranty for the first three years or 36,000 miles. Honda also supports the CR-V with powertrain coverage for five years or 60,000 miles.

Although 2007 brought many changes for the CR-V, most reviewers expect Honda's solid reputation for quality to continue with this new model. When speaking of the redesigned CR-V, Motor Week says that "With consistent yearly upgrades, there was little room for major improvement. In total, this decade-long benchmark should remain so. As Honda has only made a great CR-V, even better." Automobile.com notes that Honda should go above and beyond its sales expectations for the 2007 CR-V because of "the current CR-V's extremely high owner satisfaction index."
