2007 Honda Fit Exterior Review [ 2009 , 2008 ]
Honda Fit Exterior Review
Exterior - 7.5 (Good)
Reviews classify the 2007 Honda Fit's appeal as function and not fashion, but several auto writers are able to find outer attributes they like. As the Detroit Free Press says, "The appeal isn't cosmetic. The Fit probably qualifies as cute, but aside from its Honda face it looks pretty much like a lot of other small hatchbacks."
The Washington Post's review describes the Fit as "bulldog ugly, which makes it lovable." The four-door hatchback comes in two trims, the base model and a Fit Sport trim.
A handful of reviewers prefer the Fit Sport's style to the base model, with the San Diego Union-Tribune commenting, "the base model can be a little homely on the outside," while "the Sports model adds some cool factor, inside and out." However, very few differences exist with the two trims. Fit Sports feature fog lights and a rear spoiler not available with the base, and the base has 14-inch tires and "dorky wheel covers," as a USA TODAY reviewer feels, whereas the Fit Sport has 15-inch tires and alloy wheel covers.
