Saturn Outlook Exterior Review
Exterior - 7.5 (Good)
Auto reviewers are generally pleased with the Saturn Outlook's exterior body styling. The Detroit News explains, "While its shape is SUV boxy, it defies the stereotype because of its low-riding body. It looks more like a sports ute than a wagon on steroids -- the other common version of large crossovers."
According to Motor Week, "On the outside, the Outlook is clad in sleek, broad shouldered styling. Saturn's fresh design language comes alive with jeweled headlamps flanking the new brand grille." While Carz Unlimited describes it as altogether "nice-looking," the Washington Post boasts, "We got favorable looks everywhere and lots of damning with faint praise."

Outlook XE
Standard exterior features on the Saturn Outlook XE include power/heated mirrors, black body side moldings, a rear roofline spoiler, and 18-inch painted aluminum wheels.
Optional features included in the Outlook XE's Preferred Package are chrome roof rails.
Outlook XR
Additional standard exterior features on the Saturn Outlook XR include body-color side moldings, roof rails, and 18-inch machined aluminum wheels. According to the Boston Globe, "From the outside, the XR AWD is deceiving. It does not look like an SUV, or at least not like one large enough to comfortably carry seven or eight adults."
An optional exterior feature included in the Outlook XR's Convenience Package is a power rear lift gate. Moreover, the XR's Enhanced Convenience Package includes an auto-dimming driver-side outside rearview mirror, rear view mirror memory, and power folding outside mirrors. Also available, and included in the XR's Touring Package, are 19-inch polished alloy wheels and chrome exhaust tips.
