2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Exterior Review [ 2008 ]
Toyota Highlander Hybrid Exterior Review
Exterior - 5.5 (Mediocre)
The 2007 Highlander Hybrid's exterior is nearly identical to the gas engine Highlander, an aging design due for a 2008 model year update. The Washington Post calls the body "conservative" and "inoffensive." To most everyone, it's plain vanilla.
The 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid "lacks a cutting-edge design," says New Car Test Drive, with relatively large front and rear overhangs that give it "a station wagon look." Likewise, Kelley Blue Book says the Highlander Hybrid's exterior has a "boxy, upright stature and absence of chrome on the grille and sides give it the appearance of a tall station wagon rather than a rough-and-tumble SUV."
Exterior Trims
The 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid comes standard with multi-reflector halogen headlamps, color-keyed foldable power outside mirrors, chrome grille and rear license plate garnish, UV reduction glass windshield, color-keyed front and rear mudguards, 17-inch high-polish five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, a roof rack system, privacy glass on the rear side, LED for tail and stop lamps and a Towing Prep Package.
The Limited trim package adds integrated fog lamps and a color-keyed rear spoiler.
