The 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid comes standard with Toyota's Star Safety System with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management, which includes Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, anti-lock brake system with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist. "Those systems cooperate with each other for precise vehicle control when emergency maneuvers are necessary," says CNET. Autoweb reports that visibility is good, "thanks to large rearview mirrors and an expansive greenhouse."

The 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid comes fitted with plenty of protective features. "The Highlander's solid construction, strategic crush zones, and generous complement of air bags work well for passive safety when a collision is unavoidable," reports CNET.
