Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The 2008 Audi S5 comes equipped with a wide array of safety features. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, however, has yet to conduct government crash tests on it.

Accident Avoidance

In addition to anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, and Brake Assist, the Audi S5 also comes equipped with a tire-pressure monitoring system.

Crash Protection

Crash protection features standard on every 2008 S5 include dual-stage and dual-threshold air bag supplemental restraints with occupant sensor, Sideguard head protection air bags for front and rear occupants, driver and front-passenger seat-mounted chest side air bags, and a Lower Anchorage and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system for the rear seat.
