Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

When the BMW 7-Series was remodeled in 2006, auto critics were unimpressed with the redesigned, unconventional new sheet metal. With subtle adjustments each year since, reviewers have become fond of its sleek look.

Kelley Blue Book reports the 7-Series "strikes an imposing pose even standing still; the car looks substantial because it is." For the new model year, Cars.com says only "modest tweaks" were made to the rear end, but the "difference is truly amazing. Now the 7-Series actually looks appealing from most angles."  The Car Connection says the moderate alterations worked at "refining some lines," improved the look of the 7-Series' back end, cleaned up the front. "One thing is for sure," reports Automotive.com, the 7-Series "has presence, something that cannot be said of the previous-generation models."
