The 2008 Chevy Tahoe leads its class thanks to its strong, utilitarian performance, comfortable cabin, and class-leading fuel efficiency.
Largely unchanged since its 2007 redesign, the Tahoe is a reviewer favorite and is Motor Week's 2008 Driver's Choice for "Best Large Utility." The Tahoe is also a 2007 IntelliChoice "Best in Class Winner" for lowest fuel and repair costs. By all accounts, the 2008 Tahoe is a good value, provided that buyers don't add too many options, which can quickly inflate the price. Buyers should also keep in mind that though the Tahoe has won awards for its low fuel costs, those awards are given relative to others in its class. The Tahoe may be fuel efficient for a full-size SUV, but it will never be as fuel efficient as a small car. With a 26 gallon fuel tank and V8 power, expect some pain at the pump. Because the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe is very similar to the 2007 model, this review uses some research material that applies to both.

Tahoe Exterior - 8.3 (Very Good)
A 2007 redesign that made it look more aggressive helps the 2008 Chevy Tahoe rank high for exterior styling. Tahoe Interior - 7.8 (Good)
Motor Trend says the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe's cabin is "nothing short of stunning," and most reviews second that take.
