Exterior - What the Auto Press Says
Since the Sprinter is meant to haul a great deal of people and things, its face is fairly utilitarian. However, its boxy structure is what makes it such a versatile automobile.
Kelley Blue Book says, "While the Sprinter isn't likely to win any beauty pageants, there is real beauty in its efficient design."
The Auto Channel says the Sprinter is not "exactly exotic, but certainly out of the ordinary." They add, "On the open road, we noticed a lot of admiring glances from other motorists, especially in a black passenger van Sprinter with 90% tinted windows. It had somewhat of an executive limo look about it and clearly attracted a bit of attention." To Motor Trend, the Sprinter's new vertical headlamps give the van a "more modern look."
Two different wheelbases are available on the Sprinter. A 144-inch wheelbase makes the length of the van 232.5 inches, while a 170 inch wheelbase stretches the length to a full 273.2 inches. The Sprinter is 79.7-inches wide.
