Lexus LS 600h Exterior Review
Exterior - NA
The 2008 Lexus LS 600h L exterior greatly resembles the baseline sedan, with a few notable distinctions. Most like the subtlety of this hybrid's sheet metal and find the overall look sleek. Forbes says a "few discreet blue-tinted badges differentiate the LS 600h L, as do the words 'Hybrid' on the lower edges of the rear doors." Forbes adds that Lexus is "trying to overtake the best of the Germans now by boasting of extreme quality, and the LS 600h L's bodywork is indeed a collection of well-crafted lines, tight panel seams and deep, hand-rubbed paint." New Car Test Drive writes, "Smooth, flowing lines and other aerodynamic features create a sense of increasing speed. The car is more than just visually streamlined." Lastly, The Car Connection calls the hybrid "muscular and athletic, with a graceful, coupe-like roofline that manages to keep the extended wheelbase version from looking like pulled taffy." Many also note the 600h L's LED headlamps, which come standard and use less energy and last significantly longer than the conventional high-density headlights.
