The 2008 Lexus LS reliability score of 10.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).

Lexus provides basic warranty coverage for 48 months or 50,000 miles on the LS.

Lexus' powertrain warranty covers 72 months or 70,000 miles and the corrosion perforation warranty, which repairs or replaces body panels, covers 72 months. Lexus also offers 48 months of roadside assistance.
