Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Hands down, the 2008 GranTurismo is a winner in the design department. "In any language, the Maserati Gran-Turismo is a beauty to behold, with styling inspired by both the 1953 A6GCS coupe and the more recent Birdcage 75 show car," says AutoWeek.

In fact, most reviews say the car's body-style is an engineering masterpiece. Automobile Magazine exclaims: "Even in the Dolomite Mountains, where tall peaks tickle the clouds, the sight of the new Maserati coupe triggers the same subconscious reflexes as that of a bikini-clad beauty on the Italian Riviera. The proportions!" Consumer Guide adds that the GranTurismo is "what an exotic should look like" and describes the new GranTurismo as "an aggressive new shape stretched over a longer chassis."

Plus, buyers can truly customize their GranTurismo's look. According to Car and Driver, "There are 19 options for exterior paint, six colors for the brake calipers, and two wheel finishes."
