The Cx-9 was also Motor trend's 2008 Sport Utility of the Year. Clearly, the CX-9 has made a positve impression on automotive experts. The CX-9 is also the first full-size SUV to ride on a car-based platform. The car-based mechanics help the CX-9 have one of the best fuel economy ratings in the class.
