Mazda Tribute Exterior Review

Exterior - NA

Reviewers note the lack of any major changes to the exterior styling of the 2008 Mazda Tribute. "The outside of the Tribute didn't get as much of a face-lift as did the Escape," says Cars.com. The reviewer goes on to note: "The grille lost its crossbar, and the Mazda logo has moved up, while the headlights and taillights are new...the windows taper and ascend toward the rear, in line with what many smaller SUVs are doing these days."

New exterior features for 2008 include standard seven-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass on the rear windows and liftgate window on all Touring models. "Handsome enough, sure, but the styling appears to have been changed for change's sake," says Car and Driver.

A feature reviewers like is the separate rear tailgate. "The rear window opens independent of the liftgate if you just need to toss your stuff into the back," says Cars.com. The i Grand Touring and s Grand Touring trim levels also feature standard heated mirrors, auto headlamps, privacy-tint glass and moonroof.
