Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Enthusiastic reviews about the Sentra's exterior are rare. Most say it's modern and inoffensive, while some are disappointed in the overall packaging. U.S. News reviewer Rick Newman rates the Nissan Sentra as "Hot, for an economy car. Creases along the belt line and a forward-leaning stance give the Sentra a modest athletic look -- more than you can say about most inexpensive sedans."

"The Sentra is a nice-looking car -- young but not especially daring," says Cars.com. The majority of reviewers had no problem with the flat wheel arches, wedge body design or the two indented grooves running down the center of the hood of the Sentra because it was a look they’ve seen before. "From nearly all angles, the Sentra looks a lot like a smaller version of the Altima or Maxima," says Edmunds. Many reviewers agree with this, but note there is an obvious difference in size.
