Safety - What the Auto Press Says

In addition to having a number of standard safety features, the 2008 Saturn Aura Green Line scores very well in government crash tests.

The Green Line earned five stars out of five for driver and passenger safety in front-end collision tests and five stars out of five for front seat and backseat passenger safety in side crashes. It has not received a rollover rating. In addition, reviewers praise the standard safety equipment. About.com calls the Aura "one safe ride," adding, "you're in good hands."

Accident Avoidance

The 2008 Saturn Aura Green Line comes standard with four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, as well as StabiliTrak Stability Control with Brake Assist.

Crash Protection

A variety of OnStar ® services are standard on the Green Line, including Accident Assist, Automatic Crash Notification and Emergency Services, to name a few. In addition, the Aura Green Line is equipped with dual-stage front and passenger air bags with a passenger sensing system, front seat-mounted side-impact air bags and head-curtain side air bags. There are also front and rear crumple zones and an energy-absorbing instrument panel and steering column.
