Exterior - What the Auto Press Says
Most reviewers have no strong opinions on the Saturn VUE Green Line's exterior, which looks almost the same as the gasoline-powered VUE. "The Vue looks like what it is -- a friendly family vehicle with no phony macho pretentions," says The Auto Channel.
Features that differentiate the VUE Hybrid are alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, chrome accents, and a Hybrid badge on the fender. The Los Angeles Times calls it "a tolerably decent-looking trucklet, to be sure, especially in hybrid trim, which comes with alloy rims and appealing 'skid-plate' brightwork fore and aft." Others find the VUE Green Line simply inoffensive -- or, as the Washington Post says, "the motorized version of Pleasantville." TechnoRide seconds that, saying, "Outside, the Vue looks pleasant enough."
