Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Most are satisfied with the 2008 Subaru Legacy's body style. U.S. News' reviewer Rick Newman says, "Subaru has figured out how to put coolness and style into cars ordinary people can afford." But still the design is conservative for the class.

Car and Driver says new headlights and taillights and a larger grille opening "give the car more presence." Other exterior features include aerodynamic side ground effects, dual chrome exhaust tips and a power moonroof. The 2.5 GT Limited and spec.B feature side mirrors with integrated signals and a standard functional hood scoop. "Now, before you cringe, realize that this hood scoop is not an exaggerated, boy-racer thing," says MSN. "The scoop's rise in the middle of the hood is mild and doesn't detract from a pleasant overall appearance."
