Reliability
The 2008 Toyota RAV4 reliability score of 10.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates. This score is based on trending the past three years of historical initial quality and dependability data from J.D. Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
The 2008 Toyota RAV4, which comes with a three-year/36,000-miles basic warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Since it debuted in 2006, there's little information about the newly redesigned RAV4's reliability, but most are confident that Toyota's longstanding reputation for quality is proof of continued customer satisfaction.
