The 2009 Pontiac Vibe receives high scores in federal government crash tests, and comes with an extensive list of standard active and passive safety equipment, including front, rear and side air bags, traction control, Electronic Stability Control and OnStar.

Crash Tests

  • The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2009 Vibe five stars in driver and front-passenger protection in front impacts, and five stars for the driver's protection in side impacts. The Vibe earns four out of five stars for rear passenger protection in side impact crashes. In addition, the car receives a four-star rollover rating for both front-wheel and four-wheel drive.
