Buyers can rest assured that the MDX comes with Acura's standard four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty. In addition to the basic warranty, the MDX comes with Acura's six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty.

But could the MDX's traditional reliability have been compromised by the extensive changes in the 2007 model? notes that any "new model carries a degree of risk until it establishes a reputation for reliability," but adds reassuringly, "Acuras have tended to be top-drawer vehicles right out of the box."
