Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The automotive press is less than enthusiastic about the 2010 TSX's redesign.  The general consensus, as the New York Times puts it, is that it is "Pleasant but unremarkable." The biggest objections involve the sedan's large grille and beak-like nose.

  • "Honda and Acura have taken lumps in recent years for lackluster styling, and while the TSX does feature some sharper lines and a bolder chrome grille, the styling still lacks any sort of wowzer factor. But if subtle, clean lines are your idea of good styling, the TSX is great." -- AutoWeek
  • "The boldest step the TSX takes, in any direction, is in the 'plenum grille' styling. Unfortunately, it's a step in the wrong direction. In profile it's boring, from the rear, mildly attractive and from the front, it's a little scary." -- Jalopnik
  • "While we respect Acura for having the courage to take a different tack with its styling direction, that doesn't mean we cheered the result. The happy face/beak nose of the TSX just isn't growing on us." -- Edmunds
