Used Car: 2011 Audi A6 Wagon Review
The 2011 Audi A6 Wagon ranks highly among station wagons for its excellent safety score and high reliability score.
The 2011 A6 Wagon has a six-cylinder engine, all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. Reviewers said the A6 wagon has plenty of power, and that the handling is a compromise between sporty and luxurious. The 18/26 mpg fuel economy rating the A6 gets is not the best in the class, but it's not terrible.
Reviewers were fond of the A6 Avant’s interior quality, including the standard wood trim. They said it has one of the finest cabins in the class. Auto writers said the seating throughout the A6 wagon is firm, and the back seat is tight for three passengers. There’s 33.93 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in use, which is impressive for the class. The cargo area also has under-floor storage. The list of standard features includes power front seats, Bluetooth capability, a CD changer, heated front seats, partial leather seating, rain-sensing windshield wipers, headlight washers, satellite radio and a sunroof. In 2011, Audi debuted its multi-media interface, which features a navigation system standard; however, reviewers said the interface is complex. Features that were available on higher trims or were optional when it was new are an Audi parking system, a DVD system, a Bose sound system, a rearview camera, a navigation system, adaptive headlights with cornering lights, heated rear seats and an Audi side assist blind spot warning system.
The Audi A6 Avant has one of the highest safety scores among its classmates.
Other Cars to Consider

The 2011 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon is a sportier wagon that has more engine and drivetrain choices than the A6 Wagon. The CTS Sport Wagon has two six-cylinder engines with a standard automatic transmission that gets about the same fuel economy as the A6 Wagon. The base CTS Sport Wagon came with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive was optional when it was new.
