2011 Audi A6 Wagon Review
Reviewers say the 2011 Audi A6 Wagon is beautiful, luxurious and practical.
The 2011 Audi A6 Avant hasn’t been updated in a while, which is just fine with reviewers. Most agree that in the 2011 A6 Avant, Audi has created a strong blend of German luxury, performance and utility. In fact, Kelley Blue Book calls the A6 Wagon "the ideal vehicle for the socially mobile family in need of generous interior space and all-wheel-drive capability, but not at all interested in an SUV.”
Though the 2011 Audi A6 may be an ideal mix of what luxury wagon shoppers want, its price tag is high for the class. If you can get by with less space or less style, you can save cash by choosing another luxury wagon.
Other Wagons to Consider
If you like everything about the A6 but its price, check out the Audi A4 Avant -- which is similarly styled and out performs most of the luxury wagons in this highly competitive class. It’s a model smaller than the A6, so you’ll lose some passenger and cargo space, but most reviewers say it’s a good buy.
For better performance at a lower price, the BMW 3-Series Wagon takes the cake. In fact, it sets the performance benchmark in this highly-competitive class. Again, it is smaller than the A6, so you’ll give up space, but when you’re tearing up back roads, most reviewers don’t think you’ll mind.
