Audi offers a four-year, 50,000-mile basic warranty and a four-year, 50,000-mile powertrain warranty on all new A6 cars.
Scheduled services and maintenance are provided at an additional charge during the warranty period -- something Audi used to provide for free. While upkeep and maintenance of the 2008 Audi A6 is no longer free, Car and Driver quotes that an A6 it tested "did age wonderfully," and after two years it still looked "as fresh as it did from day one." That hasn't been everyone's experience, and the A6's reliability score is the one blemish on an otherwise impressive record.
