Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Auto writers love the TT's eye-catching design. It's available in both a coupe and roadster (soft-top convertible) body styles. Introduced just last year, an aggressive TTS trim is also available.

  • "The TT has the low-slung look and feel of a sports car, but its dynamic personality is closer to that of a luxury sport coupe.  ... The two-seat roadster has a lightweight fabric-trimmed top that folds down flush with the rear bodywork, which enables the car to retain clean lines with the top down." -- Edmunds
  • "Audi's TT sports car has aged surprisingly well since its 2000-model-year U.S. debut; it's still a head-turning design despite the influx of other, outlandishly styled models.  ... The 2009 TT sports Audi's trapezoidal grille, which splits the front bumper. The slit-like headlights and lower grille styling lend the TT a sinister appearance." -- Cars.com
  • The TTS trim "looks more aggressive, with huge lower air intakes, specific LED daytime running lights that aren't on other TTs, and quad-tip exhaust pipes. We like the headlights, but we don't think the front bumper and the spoiler are real improvements. On the other hand, Audi had to change something-after all, this is the 'S' version, which denotes second sportiest in an Audi model line." -- Car and Driver
