Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The 2010 Buick Enclave offers safety features comparable to those of its in-class competitors and a solid build. It earns top scores of five stars for all seating positions in federal government frontal and side crash tests. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety also named the 2009 model a "Top Safety Pick" for its good performance in crash tests and standard electronic stability control.

  • "Safety features (this is first and foremost a family vehicle) are what you'd expect, with a preponderance of airbags, and what you might not expect: extensive use of high-strength steel for protection." --Car and Driver
  • "Standard safety features on all Enclaves include anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, front air bags, front-seat-mounted air bags and three-row side-curtain airbags that stay inflated longer in the event of a vehicle rollover." -- Kelley Blue Book
