Automotive critics agree that the 2014 Buick Encore offers a comfortable ride, but what do they think about its interior? I am Jim Sharifi with US News Best Cars. In this video we will take a closer look at what professional reviewers reveal about the Encores interior.
Reviewers say the 2014 Buick Encore has a stylish cabin design thats built with premium materials. They also note that a standard active noise cancellation system keeps the interior very quiet.
The Encore seats 5 and comes standard with a power drivers seat. Most experts say that the Encores front seats are comfortable and offer good forward visibility. However, some test drivers note that thick pillars and a small back window compromise rear visibility. Reviewers describe the rear seats is comfortable with good head and leg room. However, some note that hip and shoulder room are tight.
The Encore offers 18.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back seat which expands to 48.4 with the second row folded. Thats more than the Nissan Juke offers, but much less in competitors like the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4. Still, reviewers point out that the Encores front passenger seat and second row fold flat, making it possible to haul items up to eight feet long.
The Encore comes with a long list of standard features which include a rear view camera, a power drivers seat and Buicks IntelliLink infotainment system with a 7-inch color display. Other standard features include Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, satellite radio, an auxiliary input jack and a USB port. Options and features available on higher trims include forward collision and lane departure warning systems, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control and leather trim seating.
