Automotive writers like the way the 2014 Buick Regal drives, but what do they think about the inside? Hi, I am Jim Sharifi, Senior Editor with U.S. News Best Cars. In this video we will take a closer look at the Regal's interior. Auto reviewers agree that the Buick Regal has comfortable and supportive front seats, however they say the rear seats lack head and leg room. The Regal has a standard power adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery and heated front seats which are optional on many upscale midsize cars. The GS Trim comes with front sports seats, Regal models with a turbo engine have 14.2 cubit feet of trunk space which is above average for the class. However, some reviewers write that a narrow trunk makes it hard to store larger items. Like many hybrids, the Regal eAssist loses trunk space to its battery pack. It has 11.1 cubic feet of trunk space which is less than rivals like the Lexus ES hybrid. Reviewers say the Regal eAssist's battery pack blocks a significant portion of the pass-through from the trunk to the cabin. For 2014, Buick reduced the number of buttons on the dashboard. Reviewers note that this change makes the climate and audio controls easier to find and operate. The updated IntelliLink Infotainment System features a USB port, Bluetooth and a touchscreen display. When paired with a smart phone, IntelliLink also allows users to stream music wirelessly from services like Pandora Internet Radio. The Regal comes standard with a rear view camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, Satellite Radio and a seven speaker sound system. Optional features include navigation, a Bose premium stereo system, push button start and a sunroof.
