Exterior - What the Auto Press Says
For 2010, the Lexus RX gets new sheetmetal that makes it look more like its sleek competitors, such as the Acura MDX. However, blending in isn't such a bad thing. In fact, most reviewers like the more contemporary look.
- "Cadillac took the straight-laced SRX and molded it into a much curvier design. My preference was the boxy SRX, as the new model takes on more cues from much of the competition, such as the Lexus RX models and the Acura MDX." -- Detroit News
- "Similar to the second-generation CTS, the new SRX has been rounded off a bit, though it still has the signature edges and facets and a prominent grille. It likewise adds chrome vents behind the front wheels that incorporate side marker lights." -- Cars.com
- "Spend a few days behind the wheel of General Motors' latest luxury crossover and you'll see the same neck-snapping reaction from other drivers intent on getting a look at the stylish new Caddy. Initially, they are drawn to the SRX's wedge-like, aggressive styling. Then they notice the large Cadillac wreath and crest logo on the grill. That's when heads tilt to one side and confusion sets in as they realize this is not a Cadillac they've ever seen before." -- Left Lane News
