AN ERROR IN THE SEAT SENSOR CALIBRATION CAN CAUSE IT TO FAIL THIS TEST. IN ADDITION, THIS CONDITION CAN PREVENT THE AIRBAG FROM TURNING OFF WHEN THE SEAT IS OCCUPIED BY A SMALL CHILD.

Warranty

Chevrolet offers a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty on the Equinox. In addition, Chevrolet provides six-year/100,000-mile corrosion protection and a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Chevy also covers towing to the nearest Chevrolet dealership for 100,000 miles or five years and courtesy interim transportation associated with warranty-related repairs.
