Warranty

The 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo offers a respectable three-year/36,000-mile basic limited warranty. The Monte Carlo also comes with a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty.

Many state that the Monte Carlo's reputation is not as strong as some of its competitors, particularly quality leaders like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. However, Kelley Blue Book asserts, "The Monte Carlo LS will probably at least meet the expectations of most of its owners."

Identifix, a respected company that collects long-term reliability data, reports that earlier Monte Carlo models have had moderate reliability issues with starting and charging, as well as some moderate issues with accessories.
