All-new last year, the Chevrolet SS is an affordable large car that adds a six-speed manual transmission, Magnetic Ride Control and OnStar 4G LTE with a Wi-Fi hot spot for 2015.
The 2015 Chevrolet SS comes with a 415-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. New for 2015 is an optional six-speed manual transmission. GM’s Magnetic Ride Control damping system, which the automaker says will give the SS a more responsive and refined ride, is newly standard this year. The 2015 SS returns an EPA-estimated 14/21 mpg city/highway with an automatic transmission.
The 2015 Chevrolet SS seats five and comes standard with an OnStar 4G LTE system with a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot and a 3GB/month 90-day data subscription. Other standard features include heated and ventilated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a rearview camera, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, navigation, an 8-inch color touch-screen display and Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system with Bluetooth and hands-free smartphone integration. Lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and forward collision warning are also standard. A power sunroof is optional.
