Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

From the outside, the 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid could almost pass as an ordinary Tahoe. However, very minor exterior modifications help the Tahoe Hybrid achieve the maximum fuel economy.  The small changes are significant, though, because they reduce the Tahoe Hybrid's weight to compensate for the extra weight of all that technology under the hood. The steel hood, bumper and rear lift-gate of the regular Tahoe are now aluminum. The undercarriage is one centimeter closer to the ground and the ends of the running boards are flared to improve the Tahoe Hybrid's aerodynamic characteristics. There's also a larger air intake in the front fascia.

  • "The hybrid's distinguishing characteristics are minor." --Cars.com
