Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Though critics offer mixed opinions on the '09 Town & Country's exterior styling, none find its look offensive. Most, however, argue that it prioritizes utility over style -- which, for a minivan, might not be a bad thing.

  • "The Town & Country looks more sophisticated than its Dodge sibling. The chrome door handles, taken from the 300, as well as the upgraded headlights give it a bejeweled feel." -- Detroit News
  • "These are not good looking vehicles. They're not offensively styled, but they scream 'function-first' from every boxy corner and character line. That's okay. With these things, it's all about inner space." -- Motor Trend
  • "Although Chrysler has improved the Town & Country's exterior styling, it still looks like a minivan-which is to say, big and dumpy." -- BusinessWeek
  • "The Town & Country is upright and boxy, with a grille that mimics the faux-Bentley look of the Chrysler 300 sedan. It's a no-nonsense style that affirms what minivans are about - space and more space - and it's preferable to minivans disguised with visual gimmicks." -- Forbes
  • "The newest models have sleek, aerodynamic exteriors and are quite stylish." -- Fort Worth Star-Telegram
