Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Critics are drawn to the Caliber's exterior design. Unlike many of the class leaders, Dodge only offers the Caliber in a five-door hatchback trim, but reviewers don't seem to miss a four-door model.

  • "The Caliber is a nice-looking piece. Its muscular fender lines give it surface detail and an air of substance. The black plastic molding that runs along the roofline hides the drip rails, and the head- and tailight clusters have the expected jewel-like detailing." -- Motor Trend
  • "The Caliber boasts a unique look and greater utility than the traditional compact station wagon." -- Consumer Guide
  • "With unique proportions, sharp-curve styling and Dodge's signature crosshair grille, the Caliber is perhaps the most distinctive five-door/crossover/wagon offered in the sub-$20,000 arena." -- Kelley Blue Book
