Safety - What the Auto Press Says

In government crash tests, the 2009 Edge receives a top five-star score for driver safety and a four-star scores for passenger safety in frontal mpact crash tests. In side crash tests, it gets five-star scores for both front- and rear-seat safety. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety selects the 2009 model as a "Top Safety Pick" for its good performance in crash tests and standard electrnic stability control.
