Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

For the 2008 revamp, the Escape received a "bolder" grille, "tougher" raised beltline and an "eye-catching" hood, to use the words of Edmunds, Cars.com and the Chicago Sun-Times, respectively. Edmunds closes out by noting the new headlights, making the new Escape "a handsome little rig."

There is one complainer -- USA TODAY. Its reviewer is displeased with the "big, ugly grille," and notes that the "Ford again has mistaken clutter, confusion and chrome for class."
