Automotive writers agree that the 2014 Ford Fiesta is a joy to drive, but there is also a lot to like inside.
Hi! I am Jim Sharifi with US News Best Cars and in this video we will take a closer look at the Ford Fiesta's Interior.
Most reviewers say that the Fiesta's interior is attractively designed with a nice combination of soft-touch materials and hard plastics. Auto critics also agree that the Fiesta's front seats are accommodating with plenty of head-and-leg room, while optional leather upholstery and heated seats add to the Fiesta's upscale feel.
A few test drivers note that leg room can be a little tight in the back seat, particularly if the front seats are pushed all the way back. However, this isn't an unusual complaint for the class.
The Fiesta Sedan had 12.8 cubic feet of trunk space which critic says is good for the class. The hatchback has 14.9 cubic feet with the seats up and 25.4 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. That gives the hatchback slightly less over a cargo space than competitors like the Kia Rio.
The base Fiesta comes standard with air-conditioning and a 6-speaker stereo and while some reviewers think the Fiesta's dash is bit button-heavy, other test drivers appreciate features like the sync system or that the Fiesta offers some options that are rare for the class, including keyless access with push-button start.
The 2014 Fiesta is also available with a moon room and an infotainment system with a 6.5 inch touch-screen display.
