Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The automotive press isn’t crazy about the styling of the 2010 Ford Focus. They say that using the same roofline for both the coupe and sedan was a mistake since it takes away from the Coupe’s sporty appearance (one of the main reasons to buy a coupe). New for 2010 is the $495 Appearance Package for the SE sedan. It includes 15-inch alloy wheels, a deck lid spoiler and fog lamps.

  • "The latest Focus borrows design cues from the more angular Edge and Fusion, gaining crisply-chiseled character lines and a chrome bar grille that help align it more closely with other Ford vehicles." -- Kelley Blue Book
  • "The rear of the coupe roofline stays almost as high as the sedan's, which makes it look a bit clunky on the SE, although this is relieved somewhat by the new roof spoiler on the SES. Both styles look best from the rear, where the simple angular shapes seem to work." -- New Car Test Drive
