Safety - What the Auto Press Says

Safety agencies have not yet released full crash-test data for the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not tested the car.  The federal government awarded the car five stars for protecting drivers from a side-impact crash, and four for protecting front-seat passengers.  Frontal-impact testing results have not been released.

The hybrid comes standard with front, front-side, and full-length head curtain airbags.  Stability and traction control are standard as well.  A blind-spot warning system and a backup camera are available as options.
