Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The exterior of the 2010 Fusion has been substantially redesigned.  While it retains the basic angular shape of previous Fusions, the 2010 model wins a lot of reviewer praise for its more aggressive front fascia and a new, larger take on Ford's now ubiquitous three-bar chrome grille.

  • "On the road, the Fusion looks entirely dressier and far more noticeable to the casual observer (and likely, the cops), as this update represents more than a refresh and is closer to a redesign." -- Car and Driver
  • "The most noticeable change is the Fusion's exterior design. ... Where the old Fusion had a much more horizontal appearance, the new Fusion seems a bit angrier. It's definitely a cutting-edge look." -- Cars.com
  • " Redesigned skin -- including new front end with reshaped headlamps and a more aggressive air dam -- makes a far bolder statement than its wallflower predecessor." -- Motor Trend
  • "With the most aggressive iteration of the three bar grille motif, the new Fusion is far from subdued." -- Autoblog
