2008 Ford Mustang Interior

This interior review was written when the 2008 Ford Mustang was new.

Though critics love the retro-style of the Mustang's interior cabin, many complain that it's composed of sub-par materials and features a cramped backseat. If you are looking for muscle car power but need accessible back seats, the Dodge Charger might be worth a look.

Seating

Critics agree the Mustang's four-passenger cabin affords good head and leg room up front, but its seats could be more supportive. The backseat, however, is cramped.

Cargo

The 2008 Mustang coupe affords 13.1 cubic feet of cargo space.  That might be impressive for an affordable sports car, but some of its muscle car brethren are much larger and offer more space. Some critics complain that the trunk's design makes loading cargo difficult.
