The 2007 Ranger comes with a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, and a five-year/60,000-mile drivetrain warranty, rust warranty and roadside assistance.
Automobile Magazine sees a positive reliability outlook, noting: "The main advantages of buying a Ranger are low price and durability. The fact that the truck has gone unchanged mechanically for so long means that Ford has corrected most issues with the engine, suspension, and other systems, making for a truck that should last for the long haul."
Another plus is that IntelliChoice lists the Ranger as a Best in Class winner in several categories, including Lowest Operating Costs and SmartChoice Ownership Costs.
